Salesman and the changing nature of the documentary

Documentary films have become ubiquitous in a culture that embraces the ease and hard-lined format of reality series. The problem is that these films have also become disposable as they tend to preach to the choir, more so than not. Salesman serves as a comparison of what went wrong with the documentary format, and rambling ensues.
